OBAFEMI AWOLOWO FOUNDATION BOOKS

This book is specially written for young children as part of the activities marking the centenary of the birth of Chief Ọbafẹmi Awolọwọ (AWO). It is written by Chief ‘Wunmi Adegbọnmire who, from a young age, became fascinated by AWO’s life and ideals and remains dedicated to those ideals to this day. We are very grateful to him.
The hope of the Ọbafẹmi Awolọwọ Foundation in asking for this book to be written for young children is that AWO’s story will fire their imagination to want to be the best they can be in life.
It is also our hope that this book will teach them that the true worth of a man is actually in the positive impact he is able to make on his fellow human beings.
We hope that, as a result, they will display the best virtues of true leadership in their generation.
